Local weather forecast for week starting Monday January 26th: After light rain clears in the morning Monday will become mild and sunny with temperatures up to 8C. Tuesday will continue mild but with more cloud and some light rain. Wednesday will see winds increasing from the West and later the North West and later in the day temperatures will fall sharply. Thursday will be a cold and windy day with the chance of wintry showers. After this we will enter a spell of cold weather lasting for about a week, possibly longer. There will be an increasing risk of snow which could be heavy enough to settle for a while and frosts most nights.
